Merrily, Merrily, Life is NOT a Dream!
No, Life can indeed be riddled with problems, stresses, anxieties, worries and frustration!
But it’s how we handle it that makes the difference. Do we hold it all in as to not worry people or do we let it out?
Most people hold it in until they burst. No, that’s not a good idea at all. You need to find an outlet. Someone to talk to, someone who would listen certainly does help but what you need really is a dammit doll!
Yes, you heard me right, a dammit doll! Something you can grab by the legs and whack the heck out of it as you yell and scream!
think how much better you would feel if you could just take it and bash it. Wonderful relief? Hmm, I wonder where you can get one of those dolls? Glad you asked because we have them here! You can either click on the above page headers or you can click here right now!
A Word of Caution to Beginners On The Spiritual Path
A Word of Caution to Beginners on the Spiritual Path
by DR JOSHUA DAVID STONE AND GLORIA EXCELSIAS
When people first step on the Spiritual path they usually don’t know what they are doing or what the Spiritual path is all about. Very often they just randomly pick a book and then learn about different Spiritual tools and practices to try out without actually understanding what they do and what they effect in the bigger picture of things.
Every cause has an effect. In the same way, every Spiritual practice has an effect. However, as the saying goes, “A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.” So without understanding what energies they are setting in motion by following the various Spiritual practices they read about, many a naïve Lightworker sets themselves up for some very tough lessons and tests.
Curious Lightworkers end up reading and learning about astral travel without actually understanding that the astral plane is an illusionary plane altogether, filled with astral entities! As a result they end up stuck on the astral plane and under psychic attack!
They read Spiritual books of self-acclaimed Spiritual teachers without using the slightest Spiritual discernment and they end up activating their Kundalini, higher Chakras and higher aspects of consciousness without the necessary psychological preparation and foundation. And as a result they greatly harm themselves, usually not knowing where to turn for help.
So be very cautious and educate yourself on the purpose and effect of any Spiritual practice before trying them out. Most importantly, understand that the foundation of the Spiritual path is the psychological level. The Spiritual path begins with the purification of the physical, emotional and mental bodies. This is a requirement for true meditation and higher Spiritual work.
The Integrated Ascended Master is ever aware of the many pitfalls on the Spiritual path and practices joyous Spiritual discernment at all times, in all ways and all things.
The Law of Karma
The Law Of Karma by Nikhil Gangoli
The topic of this article is the concept of Karma, which is common to most Eastern Philosophies be it Hinduism or Buddhism.
It is said that in the second watch of the night when the Buddha attained enlightenment he gained a different kind of knowledge, which complemented his knowledge of rebirth – The Law of Karma.
Karma is mistaken in the West as a doctrine of Fate or Predestination. It is not so. The word Karma literally means action – and the Law of Karma is the infallible law of cause and effect, which governs the Universe.
The doctrine of Karma has many implications as to how we may lead our lives. In the first place it means that all our actions will lead to its natural consequence. We may not know what the consequence will be and in fact it may be delayed for many lengths of time but the consequence will follow inevitably. In Tibetan Buddhism the inevitable retribution, which however is not obvious, is compared to the shadow of a kite or an eagle as it searches for its prey. When the eagle is high in the sky its shadow is not to be seen. However when the eagle swoops to the ground to catch hold of its prey the menacing shadow appears. Similarly we are not aware of the consequences of our actions for most part but they will appear just as the shadow of the eagle suddenly appears.
The law of Karma is not confined to individuals – there is family karma, national karma, International Karma, the Karma of a city. All these are mixed with the Karma of the Individual, and thus it happens that people lives are influenced by events completely beyond their control. All these Karma’s are inter-related and can be understood in its full complexity only by an enlightened being.
The law of Karma gives us guidance as to how we may lead our lives. When misfortune strikes we know that it will not last forever but will pass in time. And we now know through the law of Karma that these are consequences, which have inevitably followed from our past actions. The attitude to have when difficulties befall us is this – That this, which is happening, is the coming to fruition of our past Karma. We do not see the suffering as a punishment- or do we blame ourselves and indulge in self-hatred. Tibetans say that suffering is the broom, which sweeps away our negative karma. We can even be grateful that one karma is coming to an end.
Eastern philosophy is full of stories of how bandits and murderers have overcome their bad karma and gone on to become – monks and even saints. Angulimala is an example. He had killed 999 people in his previous life as a bandit. But he was won over by the Buddha and went on to become a monk and a sage. Similarly in Tibetan Buddhism the story is told of Milarepa. He was a sorcerer who killed many people with his black magic for revenge or profit. Yet through his remorse and hardships and penances that he underwent he went on to become to become enlightened – a figure of inspiration to millions.
These are some brief remarks about Karma.

Time And Psychic Power
Time and Psychic Power
Psychics are able to perceive things that are unnoticeable to the five physical senses (sight, smell, touch, sound, and taste). People with psychic power have been recorded even in the Bible, such as Joseph the dreamer when he dreamt of his multi colored coat. While most people perceive psychics as fortune-tellers, they can actually do more than predict the future: some can tell you what happened in the past to help you understand your problems in the present and in turn help you prepare for the future, for instance.
There are many types of psychic powers, and they each have their own purpose. Some are called clairvoyants; they can “see” those which are not visible to the normal human eye, and those which are hidden or far away. Some are clairaudients: they can “hear” sound frequencies beyond the range of human hearing, and, similar to clairvoyants, they can “hear” or “listen” to sounds which are far away or otherwise inaudible. Clairsentients are those who “sense” or “feel”, where clairvoyants “see” and clairaudients “hear”. Mediums are people who can communicate with spirits, including, but sometimes not limited to humans who passed away into the afterlife, similar to Whoopi Goldberg’s character in the movie “Ghost.” Intuitionists are psychics who may be clairsentients but can also interpret the meanings of those energies that they perceive. Telepaths are those who can communicate with other telepaths or with other people from far away without the use of technology, using the power of their minds alone.
With the advent of the internet, online psychic advisors can provide help to those who need it in the comfort of their homes. Privacy is secured, and answers, advice and help are provided on demand. You can ask about anything, from everyday concerns like love, relationships, business matters, and finances to more impacting issues such as looking for a new house, moving to a new city, contacting a lost loved one, or starting a brand new venture. Online psychics can help you see and understand a part of you that you may not perceive on your own.
Most people do not fully understand how astrology works. This is because we do not feel and experience the same things they do. Psychics are able to experience more than just the five physical senses, such as sight, smell, taste, touch, and sound. They also operate on a different time frame, which makes it even harder for those who are not psychic to understand. And although the preconceived notion of psychics being able to predict the future through horoscope and zodiac sign, that is just the tip of the iceberg.
There are actually many types of psychic powers, and they each have their own purpose. The simplest explanation is that their physical senses are so sensitive that they are able to tap into their metaphysical abilities, allowing them to experience sensations that less sensitive people are unable to experience. However, that does not mean to say that all psychics have all of their senses heightened. Most only have a limited number of gifts. Clairvoyants, for example, can see both physical and non-physical aspects of the psyche. On the other hand, clairaudients can hear beyond the range of the average human being’s ears. Those who have sensitized feeling are called clairsentients, while telepaths can speak through their minds. Time is also different for psychics. It is subject to change and there is concrete concept of time. <br />
Many people want to consult psychics through their start signs and horoscope, because they can see what average human beings cannot see. However, it can be quite hard to find a safe and reliable psychic. It’s a good thing that there are a lot of online psychics ready to give out their professional readings to you right at the comforts of your own home. Online psychics can help you see and understand a part of you that you may not perceive on your own.

The Healing Energy of Crystals and Stones by Diane Simon
Our universe is one of vibrations. Absolutely everything (including us) vibrates at a molecular level! In some objects, these vibrations tend to cancel one another due to the chaotic structure of their atoms. But other things, like crystals, have structures that allow these vibrations to add together.
This addition of vibrations due to the structure of objects like crystals cause them to amplify and radiate this energy of vibration. These vibrations are subtle, but they can be used to help you handle many of life’s everyday problems.
Stones and crystals each have a unique structure and composition. This gives each one a unique vibration rate and quality.
At the heart of a crystal is the atom and its component parts. An atom is dynamic, consisting of particles rotating around a centre in constant motion. So, although a crystal may look outwardly serene, it is actually a seething molecular mass vibrating at a certain frequency. This is what gives a crystal its energy.
Your body is made of the same elements found in stones and crystals. Your body and its internal organs is a collection of parts, each with a specific structure (on a chemical level), each made up of different combinations of carbon, hydrogen and other elements. Because of its structure and composition, each part of your body vibrates and emits energy into the space around it. If you could see these vibrations which are very high frequency you would see them as an energy body that extended well beyond your physical one. Impurities within your body alter these vibrations, adding chaotic elements that distort your energy body. These distortions can starve some areas of your physical body, preventing them from getting the correct vibrational energy that keeps them operating in harmony with the rest of the parts that make up your physical self.
Since stones and crystals vibrate and emit pure, strong vibrations at constant rates, they can be used to help eliminate distortions and restore proper balance, leading to better overall physical, mental and spiritual well being. Each stone and crystal emits subtle vibrations that influence a specific area of your body. Matching the stone or crystal to its specific use allows you to get the most benefit from these natural gifts of harmony.
Scientific evidence about the potential health benefits and risks associated with stones and crystals is hard to come by, but crystals and stones have been used for thousands and thousands of years. This would seem to indicate not only their safety, but also their effectiveness. However, always seek medical attention from a qualified medical or mental health worker, or a Natural Health Practitioner, if you suspect you have a serious problem. The energies radiated from crystals and gems are subtle, and work over time.
WHY AND HOW TO CHOOSE A STONE OR CRYSTAL
Crystals and stones have been used since the dawn of civilization. They can be used to influence our moods, our health, our personal development, our wealth, our environment and our relationships. If you are trying to choose a crystal for a specific reason, then focus on that reason and allow your intuition to choose the right crystals. If it’s for someone else, focus on that person.
The one you need will let you know, you will sense it – it might “catch your eye”, be a “must have”, “feel right” when you hold it, or you could even hear, taste or smell something that’ll let you know. There may also be strong pulsing in your hand when you hold it.
Choosing crystals is mainly about using your intuition and using your six senses as an extension of that intuition. Remember that crystals will choose you as much as you choose them! Enjoy them and remember to thank them too!
DEDICATING AND PROGRAMMING YOUR CRYSTALS
Crystals need to be dedicated to the purpose for which you use them. Dedicate a new crystal as soon as you have cleansed it. This focuses the energy.
Hold the crystal in your hands. Picture light surrounding it. If you find this difficult, hold your hands in front of a light source. Say out loud: “I dedicate this crystal to the highest good of all. May it be used in light and love”. Reiki practitioners can Reiki their crystals in order to cleanse them.
To program your crystal, hold it. Let yourself be open to higher guidance. Consider the purpose for which you wish to use it. Be specific. If you want to attract love, describe exactly what kind of love you are looking for. If you are seeking healing, say precisely for which condition and what you want to happen. When you have formulated your program, attune to the crystal. Ensure that this is exactly the right crystal for the purpose. When you are totally in tune, say out loud: “I program this crystal for (your purpose)”.
Then put the crystal in a place where you will see it frequently or keep it in your pocket. It can be helpful to hold it two or three times a day, or more. You may need to repeat the programming several times.
When not in use, wrap your crystals in a silk/velvet scarf, store in a pouch or keep on a bed of salt.
USING STONES AND CRYSTALS
Your commitment to the crystal is part of the healing process. Let the crystal do the work for you. It is best not to wear more than two stones at any one time if you are new to crystal healing, as many people find the effects too distracting. The length of time to obtain the effects desired will depend on the quality of the crystal (size, colour, energy charge), location of wear, duration, and the crystal’s appropriateness to your healing. Some crystals are better suited to healing the overall problem which underlies the symptoms, than to just treating superficial symptoms. Select your crystal with an honest outlook on the real problem.
Wearing crystals or simply having one in close proximity (carrying one in your pocket or placing one on your night table or under your pillow) can boost your energy and allow them to impart their healing vibrations to your environment. You can also grid crystals around your home or bed, do crystal layouts or make gem elixirs and essences. Remember to program your crystals before use.
Rotating a crystal wand on the skin, or simply placing an appropriate stone on the affected area causes compression which releases a focused beam of vibrations to the affected organ beneath.
Also, meditating with a crystal is one of the easiest ways to attune to its energy.
CLEANING AND CARING FOR STONES AND CRYSTALS
Crystals and stones can pick up or absorb vibrations not in harmony with their natural rate or quality. They can also retain memories of the thoughts and feelings of those that come in contact with them. Because of this, it is recommended that all stones and crystals be cleansed on a regular basis. You’ll know it’s time when the stone’s energy seems to have diminished or its energy feels “tired”.
There are many ways you can do this. The easiest for most people is to simply place the stone or crystal in direct sunlight for a few hours. Sunlight is the colors of light, each color having a different vibration rate. This bombardment of energy will strip away the lingering energies that don’t belong there, washing them away to leave only those energies produced by the structure of the crystal or stone itself. Sunlight can fade some stones, however, such as Amethyst, Aventurine, Citrine, Fluorite, Rose Quartz and Smokey Quartz.
Another way is to bury them in the earth. The earth produces vibrational energies in large amounts due to the abundance of moving electrons in its component parts. This energy covers a range of frequencies beyond what the eye can see, with each of the elements producing its own “tone” or vibration rate. Remember to mark where you bury them so you can find them again! Using a bag would help too. This vibration washes away the negative energies and leaves only the energies of the stone or crystal itself. Keep your stones and crystals buried for at least 2 or 3 days.
Another alternative is to put coarse sea salt in a small container and bury the stone for between 7-24 hours. Don’t use salt water as prolonged use can damage softer stones. You can also keep your stones on a bed of salt when not in use. Sprinkling in a bit of tobacco will help energize the salt.
Placing your crystals and stones in a running stream can cleanse them too. You can also blow with force on your stone or crystal to release negative energy.
Citrine and Kyanite can also be used to clean your stones and crystals. They are the only two self-cleaning crystals and stones. You can place your stones on them, as well as Selenite, or Apophylite or Amethyst clusters for approx. two hours and they will emerge completely energized.
Other methods include using the light of a full moon, a bell, gong or tuning fork, running water (except stones like Selenite and Desert Rose which will melt) a candle, incense or smudge.

Affirmations and Mantras
Affirmations and mantras are statements you say to yourself in a repetitive and rote way. Affirmations have been used in psychology for years as part of the healing process for clients, with varying degrees of success. Mantras have been used for thousands of years by monks to train their mind. Both affirmations and mantras are methods of focused attention and concentration. Their success is based on the number of repetitions and the level of commitment to the process. Which do you think have been more successful, the psychology clients or the monks?
The spirits taught me about the power of affirmations and mantras as I was doing soul retrievals for people. Whenever I finished a journey, the spirits would assign a mantra for my client to repeat. I was to give my client the mantra, with instructions to repeat it a specific number of times first thing in the morning for 60-90 days. Then one day the spirits instructed me to tell a particular client to say a mantra for ten days, 560 times per day. I was shocked. The number of repetitions was staggering to me. The spirits informed me that this process was a necessary component to enhance the healing my client had just received. From then on, the spirits continued to assign mantras to my clients, but with large numbers of repetitions.
The spirits never let me off the hook, so they gave me a mantra to practice also. I diligently sat every day repeating my phrase; it took me about an hour each day. To my amazement it had a tremendous impact on me. The practice became rote and, in fact, a part of my being. Because of the repetitions, the mantra became embedded in my psyche like a catchy tune. Then a magical truth was created and revealed; the mantra stayed in my mind and eventually created a new core to my belief system. Days turned into months and years, and I now have a hard time even remembering the faulty belief system that caused me so much pain in the past. Remember that you respond from a belief system with every choice, thought, or action you have; this is an automatic response. When you want to experience permanent change, you need to address your belief system.
The spirits informed me that the purpose of a mantra is to change the patterning of the mind. The mind is rarely still. It has a background chatter, often referred to as “self-talk,” that is activated (probably even as you are reading this). In many cases, self- talk is destructive. It becomes your own personal berating system. Your early belief system may have been put into place years before and it takes much effort to reprogram it. Saying an affirmation a few times a day, even if it is for three months, probably will not have much effect. But anything that you say 500-600 times a day will. You will find yourself saying it while you wash your hair, do the dishes, and drive the car. It becomes the new self-talk-the new background noise.
Spiritual initiates have known the power of mantras for eons; religious doctrines are based on this concept. Prayer beads and rosaries are simple counting systems for repetitive statements. Initiates sit for hours, days, and years chanting mantras and programming their minds with spiritual doctrines. This ancient method works.
I prefer using a clock. I notice how long it takes to say the mantra the initial time and then multiply that out to determine the total time needed. In that way, I do not need to keep an exact count and I know that when I have completed the time, I will have said the mantra the required repetitions. I also do not have to think about manipulating my prayer beads, but can focus on my mantra. Whichever method you decide on, prayer beads or timing, this process takes a tremendous commitment. However, the pay off is that progress is fast. If you dedicate just ten days to 600 daily repetitions, you will experience an amazing difference in your self-talk. The more you practice, the faster the transformation will take place. It can be done formally, sitting in front of an altar, or informally, while you are doing other activities. I made a pact with myself that I would not listen to the radio anymore in the car, and that no matter where I was going I would say my mantra the entire way. It was amazing how wonderful I felt, when I arrived at my destination, and the magic that followed. I had built up positive energy along the way, and the energy hovered around me for hours afterward. I might find incredible deals if I were shopping or find a parking place in crowded parking lots or have great interactions with people. It was like I was charmed.
You may put your mantra or affirmation to music and sing your tune throughout the day. Pick a jingle that sticks with you and plug in the words. Music has a profound effect on the psyche and is a wonderful way to memorize. Just think of it-can you imagine trying to learn the alphabet without singing the alphabet song?
Creating mantras or affirmations for yourself is easy, but there are a few rules that should be followed. Keep the mantras positive and somewhat short. Negative words such as not, don’t, won’t, for example, are not recognized by the subconscious mind and should be avoided. “I love myself,” has greater impact than, “I don’t hate myself anymore.”
I will list several mantras the spirits have given my clients along with ones I have accumulated over my years of study. Trudy Bragg, my hypnosis teacher, contributed many.
One of my favorites is an ancient Tibetan mantra:
May I be filled with loving kindness, May I be well, May I be peaceful and at ease. May I be happy.
I especially like to say this one as I am gardening; it has such a grounding effect on me.
Another favorite of mine is a song I learned in the Unity church:
I am walking in the light, in the light, in the light. I am walking in the light, in the light of God.

5 Keys To Breaking Unwanted Patterns
We all get stuck in patterns; many of us are reliving something over and over that has been with us since childhood. Some patterns can feel as if we are in some kind of nightmarish prison and unable to leave. We’ll watch ourselves getting up at 3AM and eating leftover cake or cookies night after night (wait – that’s not JUST me, right?), ending up in the same relationships over and over – hoping each time will be different, ending up in the same kinds of jobs or money situations over and over, and not having a clue on how to break the pattern and step into a new (and better) one.
I have repeatedly fallen back into old patterns throughout my life. This is why I feel perfectly qualified to bring this to your attention today, as I am a bonified expert in falling down and getting back up again. I was inspired to write about this now because I’ve just recently gotten up again, and I’m gaining a lot of awareness on this that I wanted to share with you.
Of course I can only speak from my experience here, but I’ve found there are 5 key elements to breaking old habits and patterns that are no longer serving you.
1. Commitment
First and foremost, you have to be committed. If you go into any change half-heartedly, the chances of success are slim. When you want to do something differently in your life, and you’ve beat your head up against the wall for the last time and DECIDE right then that you are ready to commit and end the struggle – this is the first and most essential ingredient. When you know that you’ll do what it takes, you have the fuel you need to begin your journey.
2. Awareness
Once you’re committed, you have to turn up that awareness a notch or two. Meaning, that when you are breaking a pattern, no matter how committed you are at some point you will feel pulled back into your old pattern. This is the most important time to “observe” what you’re doing. Watch yourself – notice what’s happening. If you’re trying to say, exercise daily – you’ll get super committed and then a few days in your brain will try to give you all kinds of reasons why you can’t exercise today. Instead of buying into that – notice what sets you off. Notice when it feels difficult – but don’t let it take you out of the game.
3. Contemplation
This is what you do with that awareness. Remember, you must contemplate what you want to create, not what you want to avoid. When you are contemplating, you can ask yourself questions like “how is this new habit serving me?” “How can I make this easy?” And “How do I feel when I’ve done this, and what impact is this having on my life?” It’s really hard to lose your momentum completely when you’re asking yourself questions like this.
4. Support
Let’s face it – it can be much easier making changes with a strong support system. A support system consists of two main categories. A personal support system is first. This is your friends, the loved ones in your life. Keep in mind that just because someone is a friend or family member doesn’t mean they’re a part of your support system.
These are the people that support who you really are and what you’re up to. Many of us feel lucky when we find one person who does this. If you take having a support system seriously, you may need to get out and make some new friends. When you are thinking about your support system, ask yourself these questions:
1. Can I fully share my visions and dreams with this person and have them be supportive, and tell me I can do it?
2. When I’m having a bad day can I trust this person to hold space for that and offer what I ask for? (asking is important – never assume someone knows what you need. If you do ask, can this person be there in this way?)
3. Is this person a person who is primarily positive or primarily negative?
In the spirit of “you attract that which you are”, are these things true for you if someone were to ask them of you? This is your first step, to be a great support system for others.
When you’re doing a lot of change, you’re going to have your ups and downs. When you have someone that even says “hey, I believe in you” – that can help lift you up when you really need it.
The other kind of support is education, classes, coaches, workshops, and programs. It’s things like this that keep your expanding, growing, and having some kind of professional guidance to help you stretch yourself. I’m always reading books, taking courses, hiring people to work with me and because of that I’m not only always receiving new information, but brilliant techniques to help me apply it into my life. In fact, most successful people are nearly always working with a coach of some kind.
Most of the time we’re working with the same stuff from yesterday, and it’s those tools, beliefs, and methods that are producing your current result. Remember the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
5. Structure
Make a plan, write it down and be SPECIFIC. This will help you so much, you don’t have to waste time figuring out what to do and trying to remember. When we’re trying to form new habits and let go of old ones, being very clear on what to do is imperative. The best way to be very clear is to write down what you want to do, and put it in a place you can see it!
You can do this. You have all the power inside of you at any moment. Today is a new day, you have a new chance. You know more today, you’re wiser and have more experience. Most of all, you deserve nothing but the best!
